Before starting Agile, Kevin was Sales Director for Electronic Products for Thomas Regional, the leading Industrial Directory and Search site on the Web. He was responsible for all electronic products including “Websites by Thomas Regional,” Custom Quotes (online quotation marketplace) and eCatalogs/Catalog Navigator (ecommerce). He educated the sales force on all issues relative to Search Engine Optimization. Before joining Thomas in 1999, Burke was Sales Manager for the dotcom start-up Eventory which offered ecommerce services for Industrial Distributors.

Burke has a deep understanding of the Industrial and Electronic marketplaces. Before his tenure in the Internet world, he was a Manufacturers Representative of Electronic components for almost ten years. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of Helix Wire and Cable in Leominster Massachusetts. His broad managerial experience allows him a quick understanding of the complexities and challenges facing many businesses today.

“I like to try and keep things simple, or at least reduce the task down to simple components. We try and understand the business first. Then we transfer those needs and goals to the website and how their customer must interact with the site. The website must be built around the user – not the client. That is the biggest mistake we see today. If the buyer doesn’t find what he is looking for quickly, he hits the back button and is lost for good. Our goal is to build solid content, provide clear navigation to that content and insure the search engines rank that content high as well.”

Our ultimate goal is to provide clear ROI…turning visitors into customers and order and profits…after all….that is the entire point isnt it?
